April 30, 2017 at 6pm we attended a Town Hall by Congressman Glenn Grothman, the Republican representing Oshkosh and Neenah, Wisconsin. Penny and I and a friend sat in the front row of the City Hall venue here with our 3″ buttons with the Logo plus I had a sign propped up with my feet saying “millionaires don’t need a tax cut“. The room was packed and the press and police were present.
Questions were drawn from cards we filled out upon entering and mine was the third one called. I asked him if he would vote for tax cuts and if he did if he would promise not to increase the deficit? The audience did not like this answer or any of his others.
The next mornng, my picture was on the front of the local newspaper along with a long article about the meeting.
